Louise Charlier

Louise Charlier grew up in Ixelles, Brussels and studied at the La Cambre design school. She took part in an exchange programme in Finland where her love for simple design and craftwork flourished even more. She also did several work placements, including at Gandia Blasco, the Spanish outdoor furniture designer. Since 2010, she has been working for Médiane, the design and communication studio which belongs to her father, who is also an industrial designer. Here she is responsible for developing the design arm of the business. Her first design under the wing of Médiane was the 4U table which quickly made its mark at Bois & Habitat.
