The Bambi collection from the Brussels-based architect duo Lhoas & Lhoas has a strong graphic design component with its simple shape and almost rustic appearance. The solid wood designs have all the hallmarks of handmade furniture. The hybrid, raw and yet luxurious look exemplifies the style of Lhoas & Lhoas, who designed this Bambi collection specifically for the interior public spaces of the Wiels Contemporary Art Centre in Brussels. Bambi's disarming charm means that these chairs, stools and tables have detached themselves from their original context. They are reminiscent of the De Stijl art movement and are as accessible as they are discreet.
